”Operations keeps the lights on, strategy provides a light at the end of the tunnel, but project management is the train engine that moves the organization forward.

Project Management
Projects are often complex and multi-faceted, requiring careful planning, organizing, and managing the needs of numerous stakeholders. Having a project manager to lead the initiative is critical to project success. Project management is more than achieving schedule and budget goals – it’s about delivering business value. An exceptional project manager is the glue that holds a project together from beginning to end, ensuring that the initiatives and project objectives align with the organization’s strategic goals, the project has stakeholder support, and everyone is on the same page.
The Steadman Group project managers will work with you and your project teams to develop a realistic project plan that addresses the project’s requirements and complements your organization’s culture. We will help you clearly define project objectives, ensure strategic alignment, identify and plan for risk, and effectively communicate progress to diverse stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
Process Improvement – Lean and Six Sigma
Lean is a long-term approach that seeks ”perfection” by constantly looking for incremental adjustments in an organization’s processes and continuously improving customer value. Six Sigma is a quality improvement methodology that utilizes statistical analysis and Deming’s Plan-Do-Check-Act framework to improve existing business processes and create new products or processes. Lean management and Six Sigma share similar techniques and tools, but they are two different programs. The Lean concept focuses on removing waste, eliminating rework, and increasing efficiency. Six Sigma’s main goal is to eliminate defects, reduce variability, and achieve better consistency.
The Steadman Group process improvement advisors will help you examine where you are today, understand the root cause(s) of the problem you are trying to solve, set goals, and guide your team to do what is needed to achieve sustainable outcomes. We will work with you to develop and implement a systematic and effective approach, using data and team members’ input to inform decisions and next steps.
