Steadman Group Brings Colorado-Informed Models to Six States and More Coming Soon!
The Steadman Group has officially expanded its opioid settlement consulting services across the country. Highlights include:
- Kansas: In January 2025, we completed a full opioid settlement strategic plan with Wichita City and Sedgwick Counties, working collaboratively with a consortium of experts and aligning investments with long-term sustainability and community-driven priorities.
- Oklahoma: Steadman Group is conducting a statewide evaluation of 88 opioid-funded organizations to measure impact and improve outcomes.
- Pennsylvania: In Delaware County, we are supporting strategic planning, program coordination, and evaluation to ensure alignment with statewide goals.
- South Carolina: Steadman Group is leading a community action planning process in Florence, guiding local stakeholders to identify priorities and develop a multi-year funding strategy.
- North Carolina: In May 2025, we supported facilitation and strategic planning for Burke County to develop an implementation plan for settlement spending.
- National Technical Assistance: Through our work as consultants for the Opioid Response Network, Steadman Group is delivering customized support to communities nationwide based on their unique needs.

The Steadman Group will host the inaugural National Opioid Settlement Conference in Denver, Colorado, in June 2026. This groundbreaking event will unite leaders from government, public health, academia, and community organizations to learn, connect, and collaborate on how to make the most of opioid settlement funding.
The conference will focus on:
- Evidence-based strategies for prevention, treatment, and recovery
- Local success stories and transferable models
- Sustainable funding plans and evaluation methods
- Non-partisan, practical sessions for all types of jurisdictions
- Highlighting the experiences of individuals who have been directly impacted by the opioid crisis
Importantly, opioid settlement funds can be used to attend the Conference, making it accessible nationwide for cities, counties, and states. We will also offer a special rates for state and local opioid settlement administrators.
